Chapter 08 — Deskmate

It was only after Chu Feng had applied skin care products and applied medicine on Rong Xun that Gui Heng washed up and changed his clothes.
The four of them went out together to the canteen for breakfast, there was still quite a long time before classes started, so it was perfectly in time.

Some students would choose to go to the classroom to eat after buying and start their self study, so the cafeteria felt empty in the morning.

There were six small dumplings inside a tray of small steamed meat filled buns which were quite good, and this was what Chu Feng had bought for himself, and the two fist-sized steamed buns with vegetarian stuffing were for Rong Xun. Although the vegetarian ones used more oil, Rong Xun could still eat them.
He put Rong Xun’s share in front of him, peeled another egg steamed in tea for him, only then Chu Feng only started to eat his own food. The sesame ball was for Rong Xun as a dessert, it was still hot from being fried, so he will let Rong Xun eat them later.
With the buns, eating congee wouldn't feel so monotonous. But Rong Xun felt overwhelmed after he had eaten one and a half bun and couldn't eat anymore.
When Chu Feng finished his own, he saw that Rong Xun was holding half a bun and looked like he couldn’t eat it and didn’t want to waste it, so he simply took it and ate it himself.
When Rong Xun looked at him with a red face, Chu Feng smiled, picked up the bag containing the sesame ball and said, “Take this to the classroom to eat.”
“En.” Rong Xun responded and took the bag.
All four of them finished eating before they left the canteen together and headed to the classroom.
On the way, Gui Heng and Si Xian walked in front.
