Chapter 14 Lingering Love (Part 3/4)
As the
days passed, the relationship between the two improved. Everyone in the manor
was aware that the Prince Consort, always clad in red robes and lazily lying on
the couch, was favoured. The attendants who served them directly smiled as they
approached the couple, knowing better than to point out their saccharine-sweet
interactions. Although Jun Lixuan always wore a malicious cold expression, the
Prince Consort was different. He rewarded merits and dished out punishments
fairly. Gradually, the attendants were less afraid of the manor's coldness and
the quality of work they did improve by the days.
The
fifteenth day of the first lunar months marked the last day of the New Year's
Celebrations. On this day, citizens in the Capital would visit the temple to
burn incense and pray for blessings. After which, it was a trend to pay a visit
to the festival's bazaar to complete their celebrations.
The
royal family had the imperial temple for the royals make their prayers.
However, Jun Lixuan found this annual practice dry and uninteresting. To break
the boredom, he took Ling Qiyang to experience commoners' lives and experience
life as an ordinary couple for a day.
The Ye
Empire's Capital had many temples. Each of them equally popular and decorated

passed the reins to his entourage and walked up the hill. Even amongst the
crowd, the handsome couple was particularly conspicuous.
As they
walked along the pavement, the unmarried girls and Omegasthrew shy and
infatuated glances at the handsome Seventh Prince. Ling Qiyang watched the
sight and smiled. If he was not Her Royal Highness Ling today, he would
probably part of these infatuated crowd. He would not have the fortune to walk

"What
