Chapter 19 — Tutoring

________________________________

Shen Shi came back with three cups of coffee and began to give them formal tutoring classes. After knowing that Rong Xun had a good foundation, he let him do the paper first and teach him English and Mathematics later. On Chu Feng's side, he started from the beginning, but the focus was still on the topics of the examination, the basics that were not the key points were also covered.

Shen Shi's class was very detailed, and he had his own set of memorization methods. With his method, Chu Feng felt that he carried things faster. In addition, the review method planned by Rong Xun before made him have a certain understanding of all topics. In this way, it would be easy for him to remember, and would not feel confused if he accepted detailed explanations.

Rong Xun took a look at Shen Shi's notebook during his break and found that the summary and records of topics above were very detailed, which was better than his own notes.

Seeing his eyes stopped on the notebook where he wrote the teaching plan, Shen Shi smiled, took out four or five more notebooks from his bag, and pushed them to Rong Xun. Rong Xun smiled awkwardly at him and then opened the notebook. It was full of summaries of topics and even made different marks according to the degree of importance, just like it came from the hands of the top student, that kind of feeling.

“This... Can I take it back and copy it?” Rong Xun asked.

“Of course.” Shen Shi nodded. These are the notes he took in his senior year. He originally wanted to show them. However, Chu Feng still needed to strengthen his foundation and couldn't use them for the time being. Rong Xun's foundation was good. Actually, he can see it, but he wanted to copy it. He would not stop it. After all, this was the essence of his third-year high school, which could always provide some help for them.

“Thank you.” Rong Xun showed a grateful smile.

“It should be.” Since he was their tutor, he naturally had to devote himself to teaching them.

Their tutoring time was from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. After two and a half hours of class, Shen Shi took out a set of papers he had prepared in advance and asked Chu Feng to do it himself. He began to tutor Rong Xun in English and Mathematics.

Shen Shi opened his English notes and strengthened his knowledge while reading with Rong Xun. He used phrases to make sentences from time to time, and most of these sentences could be used in a composition. In fact, each school's teachers would have their own unique teaching methods. Shen Shi taught Rong Xun what he had learned. Rong Xun will try to master the subject, use his strengths to make up for his weak points, and remember better.

In Mathematics, the paper was still the main basis. Shen Shi would write him at least two solutions to a problem, and the formula was also listed clearly so that Rong Xun could see it at a glance.

The afternoon passed very quickly. At the end of the class, Shen Shi spent another ten minutes checking Chu Feng's paper. Shen Shi was very satisfied with the accuracy.

The next class should be just in time for the National Day holiday. Shen Shi had no other arrangements. Chu Feng meant to make a reservation at that time. If it was just a holiday, you can add classes. Shen Shi didn't have a problem either, he would just wait until when to call.

Chu Feng originally wanted to have dinner with Shen Shi, but Shen Shi already had an appointment, so he gave up. Chu Feng paid Rong Xun's tutoring fee, and his share from his mother would be directly transferred to Shen Shi's card. Before Shen Shi left, he left his Math and English notebooks to Rong Xun, so that he didn't have to worry and hurry, and just copy them and give them to him when it was done.

After Shen Shi left, Chu Feng also packed up his things and took Rong Xun to dinner.

“How about it? Is it helpful?” Chu Feng asked.

Rong Xun smiled and nodded, “Brother Shen is very powerful. I used to memorize a few knowledge points by rote. After Brother Shen told me, I felt it is much easier to remember.”

“That’s good.” He was still thinking that if Rong Xun wasn't used to Shen Shi’s way of teaching, he could give Rong Xun a change.

“Well, let's go back early after dinner. I want to copy my notes quickly.” Rong Xun said. He was a little impatient now. The solid notes were like a treasure to him as if he could dig out surprises at any time.

After dinner, Chu Feng packed a supper again, and the two returned to school.

Si Xian and Gui Heng both came back. When they came in, Gui Heng asked, “I say, why is Rong Xun's pillow on your bed?”

Chu Feng was stunned. He forgot about it. Rong Xun didn't notice it. Unexpectedly, Gui Heng, who was rarely careful, found it.

Rong Xun was speechless for a moment. He didn't know how to explain, and his eyes were a little anxious.

Chu Feng was calmer than Rong Xun and said, “I didn't think of it in the morning. I let Rong Xun come to my bed and give me a lecture. I let him bring a pillow to lean against. It's more comfortable. When he went out, he forgot to put it back.” Chu Feng practiced this lie in the circle. Regardless of whether this excuse could stand scrutiny, at least it could fool someone. After all, Gui Heng and Si Xian were not gossip reporters and would not hold on to a point, so as long as there was a seemingly reasonable reason it was enough.

“Oh.” Gui Heng nodded. He didn't get to the heart of the matter, so the matter was exposed like this.

Rong Xun also breathed a sigh of relief and silently reminded himself that he must pay attention next time!

Chu Feng glanced at the big cardboard box in front of the Gui Heng table and asked, “What did you bring?”

“Painting tools.” Gui Heng said.

“What are you doing with painting tools?” Chu Feng asked, puzzled.

Chu Feng knew that Gui Heng could paint. Gui Heng's grandmother was a little famous painter, but his parents' generation did not inherit it. Instead, when he came to Gui Heng, his grandmother thought he was very talented, so she mentioned it to Gui Heng’s mother several times.

When Gui Heng was a child, he was also naughty. His family felt that he should learn something to relax, so they listened to his grandmother's advice and let him learn painting. Although Gui Heng didn't necessarily study hard, he studied painting at school for nearly ten years. Although he stopped painting after the third day of junior high school, the foundation was still there. Occasionally, when he went to his grandmother's place, in order to make the old lady happy, he also accompanied him to paint a few strokes.

Chu Feng's deepest memory was that when he was in primary school, Gui Heng often grabbed a piece of paper and painted something, which was really good. At that time, there were no other students who could paint in the class. Gui Heng's lovely scribble was well-liked by many little girls. Even the little girls commented that Gui Heng was a prince who could paint, but the academic performance of the “prince” was really not enough for a “prince”.

Chu Feng still remembered that after Gui Heng stopped painting on the third day of junior high school, it was basically abandoned. He hadn't seen him draw since he grew up, so this memory was quite far away for Chu Feng.

Gui Heng coughed softly and said, “Am I not preparing to make progress?” He said that he wanted to make progress. In fact, he was so embarrassed.

Si Xian smiled and said to him, “This boy is going to be an art student. As a matter of fact, he needs to pick up the skill of painting.”

“Art student?” Chu Feng smiled. “It's really feasible. Don't give me three minutes of heat.” For example, both art students and sports students in schools had no separate classes. They were sandwiched in each class. When Gui Heng thought of this road, he obviously listened to his words, which made him very happy. He also hoped that Gui Heng would have a different future.

“I know.” Gui Heng nodded. In fact, he was still somewhat at a loss, but as his father said, it was okay to be at a loss, but it was always right to pick up the painting first, don't end up in a daze, and make sure he wanted to go this way or it might be too late.

“Don't forget to talk to the class master tomorrow and ask her to arrange a tutor for your specialty students.” Si Xian said. The school had special counseling for these students.

“I'll go early tomorrow morning.” Gui Heng said.

After talking about Gui Heng, Si Xian asked Chu Feng, “How was your tutoring class?”

“Very good,” said Chu Feng then he took out his and Rong Xun's things.

“There will be an exam when you come back on November 11. At that time, you can test the recent learning results.” Si Xian said with a smile, “Don't let Rong Xun have the chance to give you lectures after his busy schedule.”

“I’ll try my best. '' After all, it was only a month. He didn’t dare say how much progress he could make to improve.

Rong Xun thought of Chu Feng's achievements, looked at Gui Heng's box, and said to Chu Feng, “Do you want to consider the road of an art student?” but he didn't know if Chu Feng had any special skills.

“Let’s talk about it later.” Chu Feng smiled, approached Rong Xun, and said, “After all, I still want to go to the same school with you. If I really can't do it in the end, I'll think about it.” In fact, if he wanted to take the art exam, he would most likely have to take the acting exam, but now he really didn't think much about that. Compared with the relatively easy art test, his goal was to take the same university as Rong Xun. Everything else was just a second choice.

Rong Xun didn't say anything after hearing what he said. He saw Chu Feng's efforts. Anyway, he still had time. Moreover, he really wanted to go to the same school as Chu Feng.

In less than two days, it came to the 11th minor holiday. It was reasonable to say that as a junior in senior high school, it was okay to take a two-day holiday, and it was still important to make up classes. However, the Bureau of Education was strict, and no school dared to hit the muzzle of the gun. It could only give students enough days. As for how to spend the small and long holidays, it depends on the students.

“What are your plans for the eleventh day?” Chu Feng asked when he went back to his bedroom to pack his things.

“If there is no arrangement, just study at home. I haven't copied much of Brother Shen's notes yet. I will take the opportunity to copy them.” Rong Xun had no relatives who needed him to go to the door. He could stay at home all the time during the holidays.

“Good, I have nothing to do as well, I'll find you. Let's find a place to study together. I'll make an appointment with Brother Shen and let you know when the class is scheduled.” Chu Feng smiled.

“Okay.” Rong Xun nodded. Chu Feng said he would come to him during the holidays. He was very happy. In fact, he was very bored during the small and long holidays every year, but this year there was Chu Feng, which might be different.

After checking what they wanted to bring, Chu Feng rubbed Rong Xun's hair and said, “Let's go and take you home first.”

“En.” Rong Xun didn't refuse. After all, even if Chu Feng would come to him, he would probably not see him for a day or two, so he also wanted to stay with Chu Feng for a while.

Chu Feng still sent Rong Xun to the downstairs of his house. The two talked for a while, seeing that it was really late, Rong Xun hurried Chu Feng to go home.

Chu Feng held Rong Xun's hand and said, “Call me whenever you need anything.”

“En.” Rong Xun smiled and said, “you too.”

Rong Xun said goodbye to him and went upstairs.

Chu Feng still waited for Rong Xun to come home and open the window to find him. He smiled and waved to Rong Xun, and then stopped a taxi to leave.
