The Wife Wants A Divorce Every Day Chapter 3

Chapter 3 - Awkward Atmosphere in the Living Room ......

The awkward atmosphere spread openly in the living room, and seeing that nosebleeds were running down her fingers, Jiang Wanwan hurriedly put her teacup aside and yanked out a few from the tissue box on the coffee table to cover her nose.

"Your ginseng tea must be too strong, I've only drunk half a cup and I've got a nosebleed!" Jiang Wanwan was very embarrassed but she still explained to herself with a bemused expression.

Xi Heming fastened the bathrobe tightly, swept his eyes from Jiang Wanwan's face to the cup of tea, and sneered immediately: "Jiang Wanwan, don't think I don't know what you are thinking. Let me remind you, you're a girl, you'd better respect and love yourself!"

"What do you mean by that?" Jiang Wanwan is not a good-tempered person in her own right. Just now, her eyes have taken advantage of him, and her confidence is lacking. But when Xi Heming was so angry, her temper also came up. She was wiping her nosebleeds while eloquently said: "What do you mean by I have an idea? You think you're a piece of cake, everyone wants to have a bite. Big Brother, let me remind you, I was drinking tea in the living room for a good reason, and it was you who wandered out in front of me unclothed. I even suspected you were deliberately seducing me!"

Xi Heming's mouth was agape at Jiang Wanming's comment, and he looked at her incredulously, as if he couldn't believe that these words were coming out of her mouth.

Jiang Wanwan, the woman who had been like an octopus since she got engaged and wanted to haunt him every day; the woman who didn't back down no matter how coldly he spoke, who insisted on delivering tonic soup every day; the woman who saw herself with a face full of flowers and drooled at the sight of him, who thought that all females in the world were her love rivals, actually spoke to him in such a disgusted tone, was he hearing things?

Although he had always hoped that Jiang Wanwan would not be so obsessed with him, but suddenly being scolded by her in a head-bashing manner. Why did he feel a bit unrealistic?

Looking at the woman in front of him, who had nothing but dislike in her eyes, Xi Heming couldn't help but ask, "Jiang Wanwan, are you alright?"

"I think you're the one with a problem!" Jiang Wanwan suggested pertinently, "Mr. Xi, narcissism is a disease, and you need to treat it. Although you're a bit more handsome than the average men and a bit richer than most men, don't think of women in such a superficial way. I'm not a nympho!"

Xi Heming looked at the nosebleed on Jiang Wanwan's face and said, "You'd be more convincing if you wiped the nosebleed off your face. I've never seen a girl with a nosebleed looking at a man!"

"Nor have I ever seen any man show off his body to a lady so recklessly!" Jiang Wanwan said it reluctantly, but remembering what she had just seen, she tugged a few sheets of paper and continued to wipe her nose, trying to defend her innocence: "I told you that I was drinking ginseng tea, why did you buy such a long vintage ginseng tea at such a young age, you're not afraid of over-supplementing."

Xi Heming didn't even know what to say. It was a ginseng tea intended for the old man. He had put it on the counter in the west kitchen when he brought it back yesterday, but he didn't know what she was thinking, she had actually opened it and made water to drink.

Looking at her face getting dirtier and dirtier as she wiped it, Xi Heming felt that he was losing his patience after 30 years of living: "Stop wiping, can't you just go and wash it?"

Jiang Wanwan also felt uncomfortable on her face and body, so she stopped talking nonsense with him immediately and and directly dragged her long wedding dress towards the master bedroom, trying to control her eyes not to glance at Xi Heming.    Although the beauty is attractive, but when two armies are confronting each other, we must not lose our momentum because of our greed for beauty!

Besides, it's so tightly wrapped, except for his face, no other places can be seen.

Xi Heming watched Jiang Wanwan walking towards him, getting closer and closer, and then passed him as if she wanted to go to the master bedroom. Xi Heming turned around and grabbed Jiang Wanwan's arm, and before he could say anything, Jiang Wanwan sneered preemptively : "What? You want to seduce me again?

Looking at the nosebleed marks on Jiang Wanwan's face, Xi Heming looked disgusted: "You think too much, even if you were the only woman left in this world, I wouldn't try to seduce you! I'm asking you, what are you going to do?"

"To wash my face!" Jiang Wanwan pointed at her face and tugged down her long wedding dress, "And change out of this."

Xi Heming took a deep breath and tried to ignore the righteousness on Jiang Wanwan's face, "Inside is my room."

        Jiang Wanwan was confused, "???"

"You don't think you can sleep in the same room as me just because you're married to me, do you?" Xi Heming gave a smirking expression and sneered at her, "I won't sleep with a woman I don't have feelings for."

Releasing his hand, Xi Heming lifted his chin and pointed towards the living room, "Over there in the living room is your room, all the things you asked the driver to deliver earlier are in your room, the maid has already sorted them out for you."

Looking at Jiang Wanwan's look of disorientation, Xi Heming felt that his irritable mood of the day had finally improved a bit, and was in a particularly good mood to stab her twice: "This is my bedroom, study and gym, from now on it's best not to come here when there's nothing to do. Of course, it's best not to come over here when there's something wrong either."

Jiang Wanwan finally reacted, so she was being treated like a nympho by him again: "Although you're quite a narcissist, there's one thing we both agree on."

Jiang Wanwan looked at him, snorted and said, "I'm not interested in sleeping with someone I don't have feelings for, let alone living with someone I don't have feelings for. Since we both don't know each other well and don't have much of a relationship foundation yet, why don't we take advantage of the early days and go get a divorce together?"

"Divorce?" Hearing this word, Xi Heming almost failed to control his volume and looked at Jiang Wanwan incredulously, "What are you kidding?"

"Do you think I'm joking?" Jiang Wanwan looked at Xi Heming and said with a serious face, "Xi Heming, we both understand that this marriage is nothing more than a deal between you and your father. I am not interested in becoming a bargaining chip between your father and son, you can choose another honest and obedient woman to continue to be your bet. Your father merely wants you to get married anyway, and you could have found an obedient replacement for me."

"Isn't it a little too late for you to regret that?" Xi Heming leaned against the wall and looked at her from above, sneering, "If you were unwilling to marry me, then why didn't you refuse when my old man proposed the marriage contract? Who are you trying to show by running to the office every day with so much enthusiasm?"

Jiang Wanwan was speechless at the question and yelled back in a bit of annoyance, "I was out of my mind at that time, okay? I regret it now, right?"

"No way!" Xi Heming looked at her indifferently, "Getting a divorce right after a wedding, Jiang Wanwan, do you think I'm playing house with you? I don't care what purpose you had to marry me before, but since we are already married, you should honestly be your Mrs. Xi. If you want to get a divorce, it will be at least five years later, and I will give you a sum of money as compensation by then."

Jiang Wan Wan was about to speak when Xi Heming interrupted her unceremoniously, "There is no room for negotiation, if you insist on getting a divorce now, your father may not be able to get my investment."

        Jiang Wanwan froze, "What investment?"

"Don't you know?" Xi Heming glanced at her and said with a light expression, "Your father's company is in debt crisis due to a lack of liquidity, if he can't get the investment again, he can only file for bankruptcy."

"Bankruptcy?" Jiang Wanwan recalled the plot of the book, but there didn't seem to be anything about that. The book only said that Jiang Wanwan's family had a modest company, and although they weren't rich,  they could afford to buy her a big brand. Her father and mother spoiled their daughter, and they agree to her every wish, which is why she has developed such a silly, sweet and loving personality.

"How come I didn't know about this?" Jiang Wanwan looked at Xi Heming suspiciously, not quite daring to believe it. Obviously, at the wedding the original owner's father had a loving face and wished her happiness, not seeing any involvement of interest with Xi Heming at all.

"If you don't believe me, you can call and ask your father." Xi Heming said with a faint expression, "This investment is from me personally, a total of fifty million dollars."

Fifty million, this amount was not worth mentioning to many large companies, but to a small company like the Jiang family it was almost higher than the market value of the company.

Seeing Jiang Wanwan's hesitant look, Xi Heming's patience finally ran out: "This $50 million investment will be written in your name as a betrothal girft for marrying you. Jiang Wanwan, fifty million dollars for five years of your life, you're not at a loss, are you?"

Jiang Wanwan looked deeply at Xi Heming: "If I take out fifty million dollars to pay you back within these five years, then can we divorce at any time?"

Xi Heming smiled, but there was a bit more undisguised contempt in his smile: "Jiang Wanwan, you don't really think your father's small company can earn back 50 million in five years, do you? If he had this ability, he wouldn't be in debt."

Jiang Wanwan also laughed, the last thing she lacked was experience in making money. 50 million to buy her five years of marriage, dream on!

"I will pay you back for this money." Jiang Wanwan met Xi Heming's gaze and said word by word, "I won't give you a single penny less."

"Then I'll see what happens." He pointed to the room at the other end of the living room again and reminded, "What you should do now is to go back to your room and wash the blood off your face, I'm going to throw up if I see any more of it."

Jiang Wanwan gave Xi Heming a fierce look, then turned and walked towards her room.  After passing through the nine-meter-long large-open living room, Jiang Wanwan couldn't help but spit in her heart. Xi Heming really regarded her as a pervert, and arranged a room for her farthest from the master's bedroom.

Pushing open the door of the guest bedroom, Jiang Wanwan was relieved to see a bright room and a comfortable bed.

She didn’t have time to look at the decoration of the room. She ran to the guest bedroom’s bathroom and washed her face with makeup remover before taking off her wedding gown and taking a relaxing bath.

Changing into her home clothes, Jiang Wanwan dragged out her suitcase from the dressroom. She didn't know what it was like for others to cross over, but she didn't have any memories of the original owner, and apart from meeting her parents and some of her girlfriends at the wedding today, she knew nothing about herself, and now she could only rely on some of the original owner's old things to get some information.

Jiang Wanwan picked it up and opened it. She saw herself smiling brightly like a flower on the marriage certificate, the happiness and joy in her eyes could not be hidden, while Xi Heming in the same frame was expressionless, and she could even see a bit of boredom in his eyes.

Jiang Wanwan's hand fell on the photo and gently stroked the girl on the photo. She must have been the happiest person when she got her marriage certificate, but it was a pity that she did not wait for the wedding and the kiss that belonged to her.

In fact, this is good, at least the original owner's memory only has happiness and no pain. Having read the novel, she knew that the original owner's happiness ended abruptly at the moment of the wedding, and that her life after the wedding brought her endless pain, which eventually led her to the abyss of death.

The original owner left so that she wouldn't have to go through that all over again. Now that she is Jiang Wanwan in the novel, it is up to her to open up a new world for this wife.

        As for Xi Heming ......

Sooner or later, she will throw the divorce papers on his face!!!
