The Wife Wants A Divorce Every Day Chapter 2

Chapter 2: Nosebleed

Although Jiang Wanwan had been out of shape, the wedding ended smoothly. The driver drove the two of them, Xi Heming and Jiang Wanwan, to their wedding room in a luxury car.

Although it was the wedding house, it was actually a large flat where Xi Heming had previously lived. The villa that Old Man Xi had given them for their wedding, Xi Heming did not even look at it, nor did he plan to move there.

Although he had agreed to marry Jiang Wanwan, the marriage was not what he had in mind.

Xi Heming is a very business-minded man with a strong hand, which can be seen in the way he runs the business and the series of thunderous measures he takes.

Xi's business, which had been inactive for more than 30 years and was only a second-rate enterprise in China, had undergone a radical change in just six years after Xi took over. Not only the size of the enterprise has grown exponentially, the amount of profit is also like a rocket shot up.

Under the leadership of Xi Heming, the Xi Group has transformed from a second-rate enterprise into a multinational corporation covering four industries: commerce, real estate, finance and tourism.

It is a pity that no matter how capable Xi Heming is, he cannot change the fact that his father has more shares than him.

Although Mr. Xi has retired, Mr. Xi often interferes with the company's business and occasionally questions his decisions, which has become the biggest obstacle for Xi Heming in the company.

However, although these obstacles would slow down the pace of Xi Heming's market development, they were still generally within his plan and did not deviate too much, but more or less made him feel tied up.

Not only that, but the old man has also slipped him an inexplicable woman who he says is his fiancée, ordering him to marry her. He said that the woman's father had saved his life, and as a son, he had to return the favour for his father.

The Old Man himself knew that the saving grace was just a grand excuse, and that this woman must have been calculated by some master fortune teller. This "saving grace" is also probably a gift from the Old Man to make the marriage seem reasonable.

Xi Heming knew that the Old Man had always been displeased with him for not getting married at the age of 30, but he never thought that the old man would use such an old-fashioned and stupid method to interfere with his marriage. Not to mention that he did not want to get married, even if he really wanted to get married one day, he would not marry a strange woman whom he did not even know.

Knowing his son as well as his father, Old Man Xi said straight away, without waiting for Xi Heming to refuse, that as long as Xi Heming was willing to marry this woman, he would no longer interfere in the company's decisions; as long as the marriage lasted for five years, he would transfer all the shares he had to Xi Heming.

Hearing this condition, Xi Heming instantly felt that the Old Man had been giving him a hard time these past few years on purpose, and that he had done so much to wait for this day.

Even though he knew of the Old Man's plan, Xi Heming could not remain indifferent to his offer. Faced with such a big bait, Xi Heming just had two words: "Get Married!"

A few days after agreeing to the marriage, Xi Heming regretted it. He didn't know how in the world the old man had chosen this woman, although her appearance was good, but she was so flirty that it was unbearable. Every time she saw him, she would either go into his arms or try to kiss him, and she was also pointing finger at his team of secretaries, looking at everyone as a love rival.

But the old man thinks that Jiang Wanwan is quite nice. He thinks that Xi Heming is cold and aloof to all women, so he needs a woman like Jiang Wanwan who is proactive and passionate and  idiot to suit him. If Xi Heming wants absolute power and all shares in the company, he must keep his promise with the old man, marry Jiang Wanwan and not divorce her for at least five years.

In short, Xi Heming is like a snake that has been pinched by the seventh inch and has no room to resist.

        ***

Although Xi Heming agreed to marry Jiang Wanwan, it did not mean that he accepted her as a person and would not change his familiar living environment for her.

When he returned home, Xi Heming went directly to the cloakroom and took off his suit and went straight to the bathroom. Jiang Wanwan was wearing her wedding dress and looking around at the 300-square-metre flat.  Although the house was large in size, both the design of the decoration and the furnishings had the same aura of aloofness and detachment as that of Xi Heming, reavealing a breath of cold and alienation.

In short, it lacks a sense of fireworks.

Although the house was neatly tidied up, there was no nanny in sight for some unknown reason. Jiang Wanwan only had to drag her long wedding dress and find a cup of tea in the western kitchen, and after making herself a cup of ginseng tea, she sank down on the sofa.

Sipping the tea from the cup, Jiang Wanwan regretted more than once her boring move of reading the dog-blood novel. She even regretted that she should not have bought a villa in the first place. If she had also bought a large flat, she would not have slipped and rolled down the stairs, and she would not have worn this dog's blood novel.

Even if she was given a handsome husband, what good would it do? At best, it would only be an eye-catcher, not as reliable as her hard-won technology company.

Her billions of yuan are gone in one night!

Besides, what happened to her in the novel was not very good.

Jiang Wanwan recalled the story of her unlucky wife in the novel and once again couldn't help but wail.

In the book, Jiang Wanwan is supposed to be very much in love with Xi Heming, and when she accidentally gets this unattainable marriage, it was like a pie in heaven. During the day, she carries tonic products to the office, and at night, she flings herself into the arms of Xi Heming, wanting to stick to him all day long.

He was so frightened by her enthusiasm that he was afraid to go home and ordered that Jiang Wanwan would not be allowed to enter the company building without his consent.

Jiang Wanwan, who has been left at home for a long time, can't help but complain to her best friend, but she doesn't know that her best friend has long been in love with Xi Heming and has planned a series of plans to pursue him, which she never expected to be disrupted by Jiang Wanwan.

When Jiang Wanwan asks for help, she is comforted by her best friend and is introduced to a young man who looks a bit like Xi Heming. Jiang Wanwan is in love with Xi Heming, and naturally she does not see this kind of fake-looking guy, but as time goes by, Jiang Wanwan, who has been left out for a long time, cannot resist her best friend's brainwashing and the little white man's bombastic pursuit, finally relaxes and half-heartedly gets together with him.

The young man took the money from her bestfriend to fascinate Jiang Wanwan. In the trap of little white man's tender affection, Jiang Wanwan falls deeper and deeper into the trap and finally gets pregnant with the boy's child.

Jiang Wanwan is panicking and regrets her pregnancy, but the young man urges Jiang Wanwan to divorce and promises to treat her and the baby well for the rest of her life. Jiang Wanwan can only tell Xi Heming about her cheating and hopes to divorce him.

After a moment of silence, Xi signed the divorce papers and gave Jiang Wanwan a large sum of money for alimony.

The divorced Jiang Wanwan is like a happy bird who moves into the rental house of the young man, but unfortunately the sweet talk doesn't last long and the young man reveals his true colors when he takes all the money out of her hands ......

It was all just a trap.

The woman who was driven out of the house by the boy was wandering around in a daze with her stomach in her hands, and jumped down when she passed by the Binhai Bridge, ending her life.

        ...............
        ...............

The last time she saw this was when she threw her phone away in anger and tried to go downstairs for a glass of red wine, but her foot slipped and she fell down the stairs.

Rubbing her face, she tugged at her long wedding gown and collapsed in despair on the soft, comfortable sofa.

There was no going back now, and the only thing she could do was to live in this book. She is not the Jiang Wanwan who only has love in her head. To her, cheating on  outside of marriage is simply impossible.

Just being a full-time wife doing nothing is not her goal in life, she still wants to be the female president who gallops in the business world.

In the bathroom, Xi Heming was lying in his custom-made, luxurious and huge bathtub with his eyes closed, thinking about the development of his company and his next steps.

Half an hour later, Xi Heming got up, rinsed the foam off his body, put on a bathrobe and walked out of the room while wiping his hair with a towel.

Before she could put down the cup of tea in her hand, she was surprised by the sudden appearance of a beautiful man in the bath. Her eyes involuntarily fell on his bare chest, following the water droplets that slid down his chest, and then ......

The first thing she did was swallow her saliva. It's really eight-pack abs ah, no wonder it feels so good! This face, this body, this aura, no wonder the original owner was so in love with him, even she, who was never a fan of men, had her heart pounding!

Xi Heming watched Jiang Wanwan staring straight at him with a bad premonition. He followed her gaze and lowered his head. Only then he realized that the strap of his robe had been torn loose because of the hair rubbing. Not only his entire chest was exposed,  but even the white boxer briefs are looming under the cover of the belt.

With a "boom", blood from all over his body  rushed to his head.

Xi Heming threw down the towel flushed and hurriedly pulled the bathrobe tightly around his body.  But what he didn't expect was that when he pulled off the bathrobe and then wrapped his body, he exposed his whole body in front of Jiang Wanwan, allowing her to appreciate all the abdominal muscles smoothly.

A warm and damp touch gushes from the nose, Jiang Wanwan subconsciously stretched out her hand to cover her nose, and when she took it away, she found the blood in her hand.

Xi Heming became enraged from embarrassment: "Jiang Wanwan, you are shameless!"

Covering her nose, Jiang Wanwan wanted to cry, "Brother, believe me, Actually, I don't want it either! I think it was the ginseng tea I drank that was too nourishing."

T/N: So, this is your typical cliché inside-the-book transmigration plot. She transmigrated as cannon fodder who will die in the book, and the male protagonist is as cold as ice. I've read a lot of novel with similar plot, but this one is still one of my favorites. So, I hope you enjoy reading the novel as much as I did.
