Chapter 7 Part 2

Before the counter, the brown-haired and blue-eyed uncle was arguing with a counter-girl, his face showing some impatience as he rattled off a few words. The smile of the counter-girl was a bit stiff, she was communicating with the other party in English, explaining with difficulty. As the atmosphere between the two sides was getting more and more tense, the man's face was even redder and he seemed to be leaving.
The counter-girl was sweating on her forehead. Finally, she couldn't help asking her boss for help. "Sister, please take a look. I really don't know how to explain it anymore."
The counter-girl’s English was considered good. Unfortunately, the customers seemed not to understand and their faces were getting worse and worse. The foreign customer's English was not very good, making the communication between the two parties more difficult.
Chu Xiaoxiao watched for a long time, and suddenly said: "Здравствуйте!" (“Hello!”)
The foreign uncle was originally annoyed. He was taken aback when he heard the familiar mother tongue, turned around, and saw a beautiful cute little Chinese girl. The counter-sister originally wanted to take Chu Xiaoxiao away, for fear that she would get involved in trouble. But she didn't expect that the big and little person would suddenly start chatting and chattering.
After Chu Xiaoxiao understood the situation with the uncle, she translated: "Uncle said that he thinks there is a problem with the discounted price."
The counter-girl said helplessly: "I just explained to this customer..."
Chu Xiaoxiao heard of the complex discount algorithm and began to chat with the uncle again. The uncle's face showed a blank but hesitant look as if lost in thought.
When Chu Xiaoyi heard the news, he turned around and saw that the shopping guides were all gathered, mistakenly thinking that his sister was causing trouble, and raised his eyebrows: "Chu Xiaoxiao, what are you doing?"
Chu Xiaoxiao could just stay in her seat honestly, but now she ran to the counter next door, not knowing what she was busy doing. Chu Xiaoyi was sure that she didn't have the attributes of a bear child at home. But was it possible that she was crazy outside?
In front of the counter, Chu Xiaoxiao and the foreign uncle were sitting on high chairs, and they were doing calculations with pen and paper. Chu Xiaoxiao heard her brother's question and calmly said: "I'm teaching mathematics to a foreign friend."
Chu Xiaoyi: "???"
The counter-girl continued telling Chu Xiaoxiao the number and let her translate it to the foreign uncle. Chu Xiaoxiao simply listed the numbers into formulas and showed them to the uncle step by step. The uncle looked at the calculation process and pondered for a few seconds. He seemed to understand where he had misunderstood, nodded thoughtfully, and happily took out his credit card.
The foreign uncle swiped his card to purchase with satisfaction and said something to Chu Xiaoxiao again, looking relaxed.
Chu Xiaoxiao translated: "He said that his English is not good, and he didn't understand some parts just now, so he thought the other party miscalculated."
The people around finally breathed a sigh of relief, and the counter-girl took the foreign uncle to checkout, while Chu Xiaoxiao followed Chu Xiaoyi back. The foreign uncle suddenly turned around and showed his thumbs up to Chu Xiaoxiao, and said awkwardly in Chinese: "Awesome, thank you!"
Chu Xiaoxiao became acquainted with the foreign uncle and answered, "Незачто." (“You’re welcome.”)
Chu Xiaoyi had a weird face. He really didn't understand why the two sides had to communicate in each other's mother tongue. Could they have burned their mouths in just one language?
When the foreign uncle checked out and left, Chu Xiaoxiao had made a big show in the store, making it difficult for Chu Xiaoyi to stay any longer. He was dressed up very low-key, helplessly Chu Xiaoxiao was quite high-key, directly engaging in friendly exchanges between China and foreign country in the store. Who can stop this?
Chu Xiaoyi didn't want to look around anymore, simply took Chu Xiaoxiao away and decided to go to the supermarket to buy fruit. Chu Xiaoxiao saw him go out empty-handed and also took away two bottles of mineral water from the store. She wanted to sigh more and more, feeling that her brother had come to cheat the water to drink.
After the brothers and sisters left the store, Chu Xiaoyi exclaimed: "Your English is so good, you are even better than that shopping guide? Is it the miraculous effect of watching pigs every day?"
Chu Xiaoyi watched the Little Thing talk freely just now, and finally realized the language talent in his mother's mouth. He thought that Chu Xiaoxiao was just a little smarter and had a richer vocabulary than her peers, but he didn't expect her to have superb foreign language proficiency.
Because Chu Xiaoxiao was unwilling to play teacher-student games with her cheap brother, he had not seen the list of foreign languages on the iPad so far. So he was naturally doesn’t know his sister's true ability.
Chu Xiaoxiao showed a complex and pity look, hesitated: "Your English is not good?"
Chu Xiaoyi's eyes drifted, he said stiffly, "Well, it's not bad, your English communication, I can slightly understand ......"
Chu Xiaoyi still wanted his sister to give him face, not wanting to appear too mentally retarded, so he vaguely said.
Chu Xiaoxiao blinked, and her eyes becoming more subtle: "He is Russian and speaks Russian, not English."
Chu Xiaoyi: "..."
Chu Xiaoxiao: "Your English listening skills should be very poor. There is no tongue trill in your English."
Chu Xiaoyi looked at the serious little girl. He didn't want to show a more confused look, but he really couldn't understand his sister now. What is the snake trill? Why is there a snake suddenly?
