The Pairing of 2 Alphas Births an Omega
Chapter 2 (Part 1)
Silence washed over the classroom as everyone stared blankly at the door, awaiting a response.
This newcomer did not seem to be an easy target. While he kept
his pheromones close to him, everyone was jittery. His presence was domineering
even if he was just standing there.
Although Jian Songyi had high social standing amongst the
students, the harsh reality was that he had yet to mature. For him to face an
Alpha like this, he may lose the upper hand.
Curiously, this dominant Alpha didn’t bat an eye from start to finish. He
stood with his eyes narrowed, and his expression coldly blank. Not an extra
glance was given to anyone.
Argh, here’s another cocky bastard. The students of Class 3-1
lamented their terrible fate as their heads shook in dismay.
Mr Bai, their homeroom teacher, was unfazed by the heavy
atmosphere. He chuckled and said slowly, “Oh, Jian Songyi, looks like you still love making terrible
jokes. I think you two seem to have good chemistry. Bo Huai, go sit next to
Jian Songyi.”
...
What the fuck?! Which blind eye of yours saw good the chemistry between them?
In the time that everyone was waiting for Jian Songyi or Bo
Huai to violently object, Bo Huai had already walked over with his two long legs,
and even took out a piece of tissue from his bag, carefully wiping down his new
table.
Jian Songyi threw a glance at him. Without another word, he
slumped onto his table and went back to sleep.
The atmosphere was heavy with an inscrutable uncanniness. Yet,
it was inexplicably harmonious.
Then, silence befell the classroom again.
Standing next to them, Zhou Luo stared at them both blankly.
He felt his brain short circuit momentarily. Then, sharp chills ran down his
spine. As if he realised something ominous, he quickly fled the scene.
Bo Huai. If his memory did not fail him, that name
was written in Brother Song’s
weekly journal back then!
To confirm this, Zhou Luo turned straight into the second
class next door. He ran into a boy with a well-sculpted face and grabbed him by
his arm tightly. Eagerly, he demanded, “Lu Qifeng, Bo Huai. Do you remember hearing Brother Song
mentioned this name? I’m not
mistaken, right?”
Lu Qifeng cast a confused glanced at him, asking “Why are
you asking this? Let me warn you, never ever mention this name in front of
Yi...”
“I
mentioned it.”
“?”
“Not
only did I mention it, but I also saw him.”
“??”
“Not
only did I see him, but I also saw him sitting next to Brother Song .”
“???”
“He has
transferred to Class 3-1.”
“?...!”
Lu Qifeng was stupefied. Then, in a low voice, he cursed
repeatedly, “Fucking
hell, Bo Huai actually came back? I thought he wouldn’t return to South City for the rest
of his life.”

Class 3-1 was cloaked in pin-drop silence. Firstly, an
awkwardly hostile harmony was wafting about at the back of the classroom. Then,
there was also Mr Bai’s
second announcement. There was a mock test tomorrow.
Fortunately, only the third-year students had returned to
school. Hence, the school had yet to officially start. As such, the school
management was laxer in all academic and disciplinary aspects.
There was no need to mandate the wearing of school uniforms,
and mobile phones were allowed. Students could order takeaways, and the
teachers had even arranged a full day to for catching up with homework. In
these aspects, South City Foreign Language High School was rather ideal and “humane”.
The frequently “abused” South
City Foreign Language High School students felt a sincere gratitude welling
within their hearts. Now, they faced the torturous Everest of homework more
seriously. Everyone put on their game face and tackled the homework seriously,
except for some two people in the back row of the classroom.
Jian Songyi wore his headphones and laid on the tabletop.
With his face facing the window, he entered dreamland. His tender white nape
teasingly peered out from the collar of his black T-shirt, vulnerably exposed
in Bo Huai’s sight.
The neck bones are slightly convex, the lines are sharp, white and smooth, and
the arch of the young boy’s
captivating shoulder blades peeked through the thin cloth.
He’s
gotten thinner. His body has not matured.
Bo Huai’s
eyes watched him for three seconds, then he retracted his gaze. His long lashes
lowered, and he stared at his table. Then, he took out a physics workbook began
his revision.
The rain outside the window showed no signs of easing up. In
this chilly weather, Jian Songyi slept peacefully. By the time Xu Jiaxing woke
him up, the classroom was almost empty, and Bo Huai had nearly completed the
physics practices.
While packing his bag, Xu Jiaxing said, “Mr Bai said that there will not be an
evening study tonight since it is our first day as 3rd-year students. It is for
us to get accustomed to the pace of 3rd-year studies. Brother Song, you can go
home and sleep.”
“Ok.”
Jian Songyi replied feebly. He propped his head with one
hand and rubbed on his eyebags with the other. Listlessness overflowed from his
dreamy eyes.
Xu Jiaxing was a little worried, asking, “Brother Song, are you ok? You look as
if you have not slept for days and nights.”
“It’s ok,
rainy days just makes me sleepy.”
Jian Songyi yawned lazily, brushing it off without care...
Xu Jiaxing nodded in agreement, “Indeed. Your yawn has even made me
sleepy. I think I will go back to sleep. I made an all-nighter last night to
rush the homework. Time to catch up on sleep!”
After Xu Jiaxing left, only he and Bo Huai were left in the
classroom. Bo Huai was fully absorbed in his revisions, wholly alienated from
the rest of the world as if he had achieved Nirvana and became a God. In any
case, Jian Songyi didn’t want
to talk to him. He took out his mobile phone and sent a message to his
chauffeur, Mr Zhang.
[MrZhang, school ended early today. Come and pick me up. ]
Mr Zhang responded quickly.
[I’m
already on the way. But the roads are too congested. Please wait for me with
and Little Huai in the classroom for half an hour]
Little Huai. Little? How is he little?! Why should my
chauffeur pick up this bastard from next door?
While Jian Songyi cursed and swore in his heart, he did not
object.
Just a simple lift home. I, Young Master Jian, shall
extend my benevolence and do this bastard a favour.
“Your
grandpa had asked Uncle Zhang to send you back.”
Bo Huai replied with a faint “oh.” and continued with the next page of the exercise book,
absolutely indifferent.
Boring.
I have a guess that our dear ML Bo Huai came back for our proud 'A' Joan Songyi! xD
