Chapter 1 Hourglass of Time Part 1

Sure enough, I transmigrated again.

“Fuck!”

Su Ziyu closed his eyes and felt it. The strange golden hourglass in his Conscious Space began to flow slowly. He knew that when the golden sand in the upper bulb of the hourglass all flowed to the lower bulb, he would be forced to go to another strange world again.

A cold wind made Su Ziyu shiver, he tightened the coat made of animal skin and looked up to the sky, trying to determine his position through the stars, but he got nothing. All he saw was only a huge yellow-brown sphere. This was not the earth, and he did not know where he was, but he knew that the most important thing was to survive, and the cold wind started to make his body a little stiff.

"I must find a warm place, otherwise, I will freeze to death."

"If my guess is not wrong, I will stay here for ten days, but I don't know if I will return to earth."

The wind was howling, and he was surrounded by a vast expanse of white snow.

The last world was still hot summer, but when he arrived here, it became a cold winter. Su Ziyu felt that he had already lost himself in the long river of time and space, and he did not know where he would wander to next time.

This was the third world he has experienced. After accidentally activating a strange golden hourglass that was said to be a handicraft from Egypt, he was first sent to a lush primeval forest. At first, he thought that he was still on the earth, until the night fell, he was awakened by the sound of heavy footsteps, and through the starlight that cast down like a thin film, he saw a giant black shadow. That was a dinosaur up to 12 meters high. He was not sure if it was a Tyrannosaurus because at that time he was stunned at that time.

‘Did I transmigrate?’

‘Transmigrated into the Jurassic era?’

‘Should I commit suicide?’

Su Ziyu knew clearly that he had no ability to compete with prehistoric creatures. His chances of survival in this era were infinitely close to zero. But suicide was out of the question. Even ants would try to live the best they could, not to mention he was a big living person.

Perhaps because of the existence of the prehistoric overlord, Su Ziyu did not encounter any accidents that night, although he stayed in a tree and dared not to sleep the whole evening. When the giant appeared again the next day, Su Ziyu could finally be sure that it was a type of Tyrannosaurus. Although there were some sharp spines on its back, he didn't think that he would be wrong.

After the despair was the desire to survive.

Fortunately, he used to watch many wilderness survival programs. So after the initial panic, Su Ziyu thought about what he should do. The peculiar golden hourglass disappeared after activation, but he could see it in his Conscious Space when he concentrated. The golden sand was flowing down in a thin stream. This was a time scale, Maybe he could go back when the upper bulb had become empty.

Safety, food, and water.

The flowing speed of the golden sand was not slow. Su Ziyu estimated that the upper bulb would become empty in about three or four days. However, in the Jurassic era, staying alive for three or four days was not an easy task, because any dinosaur could easily kill him.

It took him a while to find a pile of huge, smelly feces nearby. He then smeared it on his body, and then spread a little around the tree where he stayed. He wasn't sure if it was the feces of Tyrannosaurus, but there should be no other large dinosaurs in Tyrannosaurus’s territory.

Then, Su Ziyu didn't eat anything on the tree for three days.

It was not that he did not want to explore this world, but that he had absolutely no ability to survive in this world. During these days, he saw pterosaurs flying by in the sky, fierce raptors chasing their prey, and that tyrannosaurus dragging the body of another dinosaur back to its nest. He even saw a two-meters long black centipede-like insect.

He felt that no matter which one of those, they would be able to kill him easily. He did not dare to go out looking for food, nor did he know what he could eat or what he could not eat. Because he was afraid of being poisoned, he could only rely on the dew he collected to barely stay alive.

He hasn’t been hungry for such a long time since childhood. He was so hungry and weak that at the end that he felt like he could fall from the tree at any time.

It was about three days.

The upper bulb of the golden hourglass finally became empty. At the moment when the last grain of sand flowed into the lower blub of the golden hourglass, he thought he would return to the earth and return to his familiar home, but he didn't. His consciousness seemed to be drifting in the long river of time. When he finally woke up again, he was already in a hot desert zone.

At that moment he completely lost his hope.

He knew that a person, who hadn't eaten anything, and only drank dew in the past three days, would not be able walk out of a desert alive.

He was almost ready for his death.

The hope that supported him to stay alive for the first three days was that the golden hourglass might send him home, but after this hope had fallen, he was almost on the verge of collapse. Then he suddenly saw a big black scorpion, and his hunger instantly reddened his eyes. He felt that he should do something. Even if he died, he didn't want to die with an empty stomach.

Then time seemed to be frozen at that moment.

When Su Ziyu came into himself, he found that he had really caught the scorpion. He quickly removed the stinger, and then put it directly into his mouth and started to chew it.

He didn't care if it was poisonous anymore.

What bacteria and parasites were all meaningless to him, he just wanted to eat some meat before he died, even if this meat was not very delicious.

The food restored his energy a little, but it was still impossible to get out of the desert. He didn’t know where to go. He could only walk in one direction. He couldn’t even understand why he hadn’t fallen. Maybe he wasn't willing to give up, and he did not want to die in silence like this.

Not knowing how long after that, he seemed to hear some strange sounds, but his consciousness was a little blurry.

He eventually fell to the ground.

Su Ziyu’s consciousness floated in the darkness for some time. He thought that he was dead, but when he opened his eyes, he found that he did not die.

He was locked in a cage!

“#%amp;*……%#%*@#¥%……”

In front of it was a ceramic basin with water and food, and a circle of humanoid creatures with dark brown skin but no ears or hair and a small tail behind them. They looked like a combination of snakes and lizards. The eyes of these humanoid creatures were full of curiosity and surprise. They spoke a language that Su Ziyu completely couldn't understand. The speed of their speech was quite fast, like the hissing sound of snakes. They took everything from Su Ziyu, but left a simple animal skin with a horrible smell beside him. A tall humanoid creature with scars on its body seemed to treat him as its own slave and loot. It locked up Su Ziyu, and showed it to other humanoid creatures, just like a novel beast exhibited in a zoo.

"Hello."

Su Ziyu tried to communicate with them, but what answered him was a whip. The pain made him groan, and then he heard the laughs of the humanoid creatures, which was very unpleasant to hear.

This was a very unpleasant piece of memory.

For five days, Su Ziyu was kept in a small cage, and he did all the daily routine activities such as eat, shit, piss, sleep inside it. In order to keep warm, the cage was covered with straw-like plants, but it would still make him tremble in the cold when the night fell. The temperature difference between day and night here was very big.

The leader of the humanoid creatures trained its people every morning. These humanoid creatures used some weapons seemingly made of black metal. They looked very savage. He has seen the blood of the humanoid creatures splashing during the battle training more than once. Every day, Su Ziyu was escorted out of his cage by humanoid creatures to let people watch. He guessed that he was probably in a city.

There was no way for the two parties to communicate at all. The leader of the humanoid creatures looked at him as if he was looking at a dangerous humanoid beast. Any excessive reaction may cause him to be whipped, and even in the last three days, it tried to use a whip to tame him as if to domesticate a beast.

They just want to keep him in the cage.

Su Ziyu finally gave up the idea of communicating with them, but this did not mean that he would not be whipped, he even felt that he had started to get used to the pain in just a few days.

On the sixth day.

Su Ziyu was escorted back from the outside, and a trace of blood was oozing out of his forehead, which was caused by a small humanoid creature, who threw stones at him. The leader of the humanoid creatures appeared again in front of him. Of course, it was still holding the same dark red whip in his hand. It seemed to treat whipping Su Ziyu as a pastime, intending to keep whipping him until he succumbed. The leader of humanoid creatures didn't like Su Ziyu's look. There were freedom and equality in that look. That was not something that a slave should have. It wanted to use a whip to make Su Ziyu completely succumb, and understand that he has become a lowly slave. He needed to learn to lower his head and show an obsequious expression to his master.

But the slave it caught seemed a little different today.

Because he actually raised his middle finger, and then showed a provocative smile, although his forehead was still bleeding.

The discovery made the leader of the humanoid creatures very angry. Waving its whip angrily, it prepared to punish the slave, and use his painful screams to calm his anger.

This distance was enough.

And it was almost time.

Facing the approaching leader of humanoid creatures, Su Ziyu's anger became stronger and stronger. Even his fingers also started to shake slightly. But he restrained the changes in his body well. He felt that the adrenaline was being secreted madly inside his body, and his heartbeat began to accelerate gradually. In the past few days, he lived a life that was even worse than a stray dog. These humanoid creatures didn't treat him as equals. Even if he was a civilized person, his heart was filled with cold killing intent at the moment.

An eye for an eye and blood for blood

This was the rule that has been passed down by our ancestors.

Facing the leader of humanoid creatures that was very close to him, Su Ziyu suddenly jumped up, and the time seemed to be slowed for a moment, everything was moving slowly like it was frame-by-frame slow-motion video. He reached out and pulled out the weapon in the humanoid creatures’ leader's waist, and then used all his strength to pierce through its head from its lower jaw.

Blood spattered.

At this time, the other humanoid creatures around them began to scream in shock, and the eyes on the humanoid creature's leader's face were wide open in disbelief, then its tall and muscular body collapsed on the ground!

"FUCK YOU!"

"You think you will get away with that!... FUCK YOU!... Did you have a good time whipping me?...”

Facing the angry humanoid creatures, who rushed over with various weapons from all directions, Su Ziyu raised two middle fingers at them, and then he suddenly disappeared out of thin air, as if it had never existed before, leaving the only body of a humanoid creature that was gradually getting cold outside the cage.

It was a killing stab!
